You know, I sincerely hope this Miranda actually survived to be decommissioned. It seems as though every Miranda ever shown gets destroyed. The Reliant, the Majestic, the Saratoga, the list just goes on and on XD

So very true! for a ship built in huge numbers they certianly wern't the most survivable were they?

yup they did, mostly because they didn't want to make up all new ships for the scenes. I always felt a bit like they went overboard on the number of Miranda and Excelsior class ships they used in Next Gen/DS9
